Required equipment and parts

• JCID Tag-On Face ID Repair FPC Cable: A specific flex cable for the iPhone 11 dot projector.
• JCID V1S/V1SE/V1S Pro Programmer: This tool is necessary for reading and writing data.
• JCID Dot Matrix Activation Module: An add-on for the V1S programmer.
• Original Face ID module: The original dot projector module must be present and can be activated with the programmer. 

The repair process

1. Read the original data: The repair technician connects the JCID V1S/V1SE/V1S Pro programmer to the iPhone to read and back up the original Face ID dot matrix data.
2. Write data to the new flex: The original Face ID data is then written onto the new JCID Tag-On flex cable.
3. Activate the Face ID module: The original Face ID module is connected to the programmer and activated.
4. Install the new flex: The new Tag-On flex cable is connected to the original faceplate assembly, and the phone is reassembled.
