The DLZ battery boosting flex cable is a tool used during third-party battery replacement to correct the “Important Battery Message” and restore the battery health display to 100%. For iPhone 11 models, DLZ offers external flex cables that are connected to the original battery board and transferred to the new battery.
Function:
The DLZ flex cable works with a programming device (such as the DLZ R200, S300, or S800) to write the original battery data to the new replacement battery. This allows the new battery to display 100% health and a 0 cycle count.
Installation method:
The process involves soldering the original battery’s Battery Management System (BMS) board onto a new battery, and then connecting the DLZ flex cable to the new battery for programming. Some newer “device-free” flex cables eliminate the need for a separate programmer.
